Please be assured that this is NOT because you are undeserving of the third installment of my Elemental Series.

Wait – that’s not entirely true. You’re not deserving of a rushed out, might-have-forgotten-something version of that book. And the truth is, I just came off of a slammin’ good vacation and I really wasn’t in the headspace to finish this thing up. I had some major writer’s block centered around a certain plot point, and powering through it wasn’t working the way I wanted it to.

And yes, I’m self-publishing these so deadlines are all self-imposed and entirely at my discretion, but I still feel like crap for it anyway. The truth is, sometimes you just have to live your life. I wasn’t going to spend quality time in a fabulous place with my kids pushing them away from my laptop and hunkering down in a hotel room missing all the fun.

I’m now in a vastly better headspace, so it’s all good. I’m not going to set a new deadline because I have a lot of catching up to do on various life stuff now that I’m back to reality, but I will say that Earthsinger won’t be pushed past Labor Day. If I have to hire a team of trained monkeys to pound it out of the keyboard, it shall be done.

So I apologize, readers. I’ve let you down again. But I have a wicked tan and I’m ready to rock this thang. Onward!
