In this chapter, Hook asks Emma to come along as he memorializes a fallen friend in, “Tribute.”
“Will you come with me, love?”
Emma looked up from the logbooks and pushed her hair back from her face. “Huh? Sorry.” She gestured at the book and papers in front of her. “Just trying to catch up with everything that went on while we were gone. It looks like it was mostly drunken dwarves and the occasional Merry Men and Pirate Crew squabble.”
Killian gave her a reluctant smile. “They do enjoy a good wager, the lot of them. When it doesn’t go their way, there may be fisticuffs.”
Emma shut the logbook and pushed her chair back. “You were saying?”
“I need to do something. And I’d appreciate your company.”

In my Once Upon A Time fanfic, Pandora’s Pain, the town of Storbrooke gets a visitor who’s looking for a certain magical box – one that happens to be in the possession of Mr. Gold – who is, at present banished from the town (this was set after season 4’s mid-point hiatus).

This particular Once Upon A Time Fanfic chapter is from a series of one-offs I titled “You Had Me at Malfeasance.” Some of these are fun scenes I’d like to see, and some, like this one, are “missing scenes” in and around the existing story.
This chapter is set right after Emma battles her erstwhile fiance-monkey, Walsh, and realizes she hasn’t ever really been free of Storybrooke, the memories she made there….or the people she made them with.
